With reference to paragraph 2 of your

Despatch No. 86 of the 31st. of last March, I have the honour to

state tant, subject to your approval and to the necessary funds

being voted by Legislative Council, I propose to grant Mr. T. F.

Claxton a house-allowance of $100 per monsen until the quarters

at the Observatory become available.
